Goddess Diana and Reclaiming Your Inner Goddess

The last few nights and naps i have had dreams of the goddess Diana. I saw moon crescents, silver and felt a wonderful energy, i have also felt the need to create this week using her as my inspiration and Muse.
After a few dreams, that i c'ant make to much sense of, because they are just bits and pieces and symbols, i started to wonder what Mother God is trying to tell me, and what i may have in common with the Diana aspect of the goddess.
Then it hit me like a Mac truck in the face, lol, sometimes we just do not see what is right in front of us.I have no children, was the first thing that popped in my head, now unlike Diana i am not a virgin at 42,lol but, i was never blessed with children of my own, and i am definitely not going to start now, once i saw one attribute of the goddess in me, the others followed and flowed freely.Diana was considered to be a Moon Goddess, I am a total Moonchild, born a cancer, with the moon in cancer, i am so effected by the moon its crazy.Like Diana, i have had no children and at my age i am starting the * change * of a womens  life from mother to crone, my cycles are totally out of wack and come and go as they please, oh  how fun,lol

I see Diana as a strong aspect of th goddess, she is a warrior, a huntress, protector of women, children, animals and the underdog.I am the  same in many ways, I am a warrior in the sense that i battle lifes issues head on and i will  *always find a way to get there from here *,I am fiercely protective of those i love, and especially women, some would call me a feminist, i wouldn't agree with that,i just think that women have been suppressed way to long and we must rise up to raise the goddess energy up .I am also an avid animal lover, picking up every darn stray around, i have 4 cats and 4 dogs, and enjoy every one of them.

Another aspect of  Diana i have in common with her is, i do not need a man in my life. Don't get me wrong here, they are great,  but i am not lonely for one, i do not need one,and my life will not be of a lessor quality if i do not have one at my side.I am quite an independent person, being that i enjoy my time alone, to read, make crafts and jewelry, meditate and chant, and  do magic and meet and support women and witches from all over.

So as you can see, what started out as not understand or * assuming* that I and Diana had nothing in common, turned out to be quite a bit.So after reflection on this i believe my dreams of Diana where trying to tell me to:

 * Recognize my inner Goddess.*

With that being said.:

Diana is a fitting goddess for the modern women Diana was protective and supportive of women. She abhorred the patriarchy as much as the patriarchy despised and felt threatened by her. Diana was always rooting for and aiding the underdog. One can see the Diana archetype breathing through every woman who knows her own power but does not wield it in a power-hungry way, who needs to do things her own way, not because the status quo deems it so, and who has empathy, compassion, and a tenacious protectiveness towards those who are vulnerable - be it pregnant women, children, animals or nature. Diana inspires us to be independent, strong, to trust our instincts & intuitions, and to love and understand the wild and vulnerable around us and inside us.

I challenge you all today to find an attribute you have in common with the goddess and honor her IN you, in some small way, some ideas may be:
Wear a Moon Crescent crown
Light a silver or white candle, with some incense.
Take a bath with some sale and oils by candle light only and bless yourself.
Place some small object on your altar that honor her and you.
Wear a Moon Necklace
Encourage a female friend.
Adopt a pet.

Here is my tribute to Diana today. Diana's Moon Necklace.
Blessed be !

Honoring the Goddess Gaea

The devastating disasters of yesterdays events in Japan, have reaffirmed that Gaea must be remembered and honored more often. The day prior to these events ,i had been feeling the mothers energy's and crafted some pendant sculptures from clay to start on creating a Gaea Jewelry Line.

When i awoke to hear the news of the events that rocked Japan, i instinctively knew why i was feeling her, and why we as witches and spiritual beings must listen to out intuition and pay attention to signs the mother is sending.

Gaea is ill, she needs us to restore harmony and balance.
How can we do this ?,you are probably wondering.
Magic of course,:) We are witches and do practice magic for a reason.
There are many ways to raise Gaea's energy, a few easy and simple ones may be.
Lighting Green candles in her honor.
Putting fresh Greenery or flowers on your altar or sacred space in her honor.
Use crystals for the healing vibrations of the mother earth.
Try your hand a little crafting, clay is a great item to honor her with, sculpt something in her honor, it doesn't have to be grander or perfect, remember magic is in intention.
Wear colors and gems to honor her.
Read a poem, chant a chant or sing a song.
Take a walk and touch her tree.s and plants, and feel her heart beating in the earth beneath your feet.
For city witches, you can make a potted plant ensemble, with various plants, and fun dangling things, in a Terracotta  holder, you can even paint her colors on the pot.
What ever your way to honor her may be, there isn't a right or wrong way.
Your thought forms alone with raise her energy.

My honor to Gaea Today is a set of 3 pieces of jewelry i crafted.
I made them of clay, with colors, texture and form resembling the earth.
They can be found in my Etsy shop for sale
Blessed Be )0(

THE TRIPLE GODDESS

THE TRIPLE GODDESS

As the Maiden, I saw through your eyes as a child
Spring rains, green forests, and animals wild!
I saw you run freely on the Earth with bare feet!
I watched as you danced in the winds, blowing free!
I was there as you grew, getting stronger each day!
I brought you rainbows, chasing grey skies away!
I was there in your laughter - I was there in your tears!
I was the acceptance you gained from your peers!
I saw your first love and I felt your first blush,
As passion first stirred in the night's gentle hush!
I am there with you always in the fresh morning dew!
I bring you the crispness of beginnings anew.

As the Mother, I bore all the labor distress
Of birthing your child, and I felt the caress
Of your hand on the face of the new life so dear.
I heard its first cry, and I eased your fear!
I provided the milk which you fed from your breast
Till the baby grew strong, and with health it was blessed.
As she took her first step, I was there in your smile!
I was there while you nurtured your beautiful child!
On the first day of school, when the doors opened wide
I was there in your fear - I was there in your pride.
I am there with you always in the bright full of moon!
I bring you fertility - abundance in bloom.

As the Crone, I brought blessings of wisdom with age
[Wisdom not found by the turn of a page].
I was there as you taught the correct way to live:
To love and to trust - to take and to give!
I was there in the twinkle of your aged eye!
I was there in your thoughts of the years flying by!
I was there when you taught the Mysteries of old!
I was there in the fire warming you in the cold!
In the weariness of age, I was there with you, too...
I brought well-deserved rest and peace unto you!
I am there with you always in the darkness of night!
I complete your life cycle, guiding you toward the light.

Maid, Mother and Crone - We are all One -
Yet We are all separate, as each role is done.
We do not leave you - We're always there
As you walk through this life with your worries and cares;
As you dance in the spiral, We live inside -
Deep in your spirit - where nothing can hide!
No matter your path, no matter it's length -
We give you courage and We give you strength.
We are there to support you every hour of day
And deep in the night, when dreams take you away.
Our gifts We give freely, for you are our Child...
Yes, We are the Lady: Wise, Pure, and Mild!
